Come to me all you who are overburdened

Come to me all you who are overburdened

Bible reference:

Matthew 11:28-30

“Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest”.

Reflection:

Am I trying to carry my burdens in my own strength?  If so, I need to remember that Jesus said that if we are weary or we are carrying heavy burdens we should go to Him and He will give us rest.

Prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus, I come to you bearing my weariness with things I can’t change and my burdens of things I can’t seem to do anything about.  I place these problems and situations in your hands and ask you, Lord, to give me rest for my soul and to show me the way forward.  Amen.
